Delivery Team Leader (DTL)
Quanta part of QCS Staffing, is a successful international recruitment consultancy, established in 1992. Quanta provides specialist Contract and Permanent recruitment services to clients within Life Sciences, Renewable Energy, and Data IT industry sectors across the EMEA, Americas, and APAC regions with 85% of our business based overseas. We employ over 110 staff at our headquarters based in Berkhamsted, in addition to this we have office locations in the United States of America, Republic of Ireland, and the Netherlands.
The role of the Delivery Team Leader
The role of the Delivery Team Leader involves the management responsibility on a daily basis of a team of Delivery Executives in the Life Sciences, Renewables, or Data & IT division. To liaise with the Delivery Manager and/or Group Delivery Manager to ensure they are working on the right roles for the business at any given time; ensure search strings are set; to set weekly/monthly objectives; complete monthly performance reviews and offer support/advice with their individual career progression.
Responsibilities, goals and tasks:
  1. Provide line management to designated Delivery Executives to prioritize assignments in conjunction with GDM, Sales Leadership, and Business Winners.
  2. Work with the Delivery Executives daily, ensuring they are set, working with, and achieving their daily objectives.
  3. Complete floor walks through different time periods in the day to ensure Delivery Executives are focused on core business activities and working towards achieving their business objectives.
  4. Oversee candidate searches on the company’s database, job boards, and communities of interest and ensure all suitable candidates are contacted to discuss contract opportunities across the team.
  5. Ensure Delivery Executives do not work requirements unless fully qualified and job order forms are used when the client permits.
  6. Ensure all new job requirements worked by the team are advertised through the job advertisement portal (Idibu) unless the role is not to be advertised, and on social media forums, such as LinkedIn.
  7. Ensure all candidate records on Bullhorn are updated with the most recent CV, including personal details and relevant codes.
  8. Ensure Delivery Executives network the requirements positively to gain referrals, including undertaking telephone work during evenings when the situation demands an urgent response.
  9. Work with the Talent Acquisition Team in the recruitment and selection of new hires and attend job fairs when required to support the candidate attraction process.
  10. Become an internal specialist in the use of the internal training material available.
  11. Act as back-up to the Business Winning team concerning the arrangement of interviews and managing the interview process.
  12. Provide post-sales assistance to ensure the team provides contingent staff with information regarding temporary and long-term accommodation, special travel arrangements, and any registration formalities.
  13. Agree with Business Winners which placements are managed (candidate care) by the Delivery Executives during the course of their contract with Quanta.
  14. Ensure that all relevant information is recorded within the Company’s CRM system Bullhorn.
  15. Work with GDM and the L&D team to agree on the training agenda and any subsequent training and staff development programs.
  16. Monitor and evaluate service levels between the Business Winning Team and Delivery Team to improve overall standards of supply and after-sales support.
  17. Work with the Business Winning Team to help identify new sources of sales/project information and sources of candidates.
  18. Present GDM with probation and promotion proposals.
  19. Work with DM & GDM to provide an overview of team placement and promotional predictions.
  20. Work with DM & GDM on improving delivery processes and focus on maintaining standards, best practices, increasing results, and productivity.
  21. Anticipate transitions from Delivery Executive into alternative business functions and manage the transition process for individual team members.
  22. In partnership with Operations & IT, develop a system to provide comprehensive analysis of delivery data.
  23. Continue to develop a success culture based on agreed objectives, personal responsibility, and collective commitment to customer satisfaction.
  24. Foster a positive workplace and positive outcomes through effective conflict management and resolution.
  25. Represent the company, adopting the highest possible standards of professionalism at all times.
  26. Track all of the above to ensure that any issues, problems, or queries are dealt with.
  27. Provide coaching and guidance on an ad hoc basis to deal with live situations.
  28. Support the Delivery Team in identifying and presenting suitable candidates to the Business Winning Team.
