QC Laboratory Technician

CK Group are recruiting for a Laboratory Technician to join the Quality Control department of a global chemical manufacturing company, at their facilities located in Durham, on a permanent basis.

The Company:

Our client is a leading chemical manufacturer specializing in producing sanitizer and personal care products.

Salary:
Around £28,000 per annum.

Location:
This Laboratory Technician position is located in Durham, UK.

Laboratory Technician Role:

As a Laboratory Technician in the quality control department, you will be responsible for:

1. Performing QC sampling and testing as per SOPs, including but not limited to titrators, NIR, density meters, and viscometers.
2. Assisting in the controlled release of incoming materials and finished goods.
3. Controlling and calibrating laboratory equipment.
4. Completing quality assurance documentation, if applicable.

Your Background:

To be considered for this position, you will have the following qualifications, skills, and experience:

1. Qualification in Chemistry or a related subject.
2. Experience working in a commercial laboratory.
3. High attention to detail.
