What You'll Do:

As a QC Laboratory Porter, you'll play a vital role in ensuring our laboratory runs smoothly and efficiently. Your responsibilities will include:

1. Maintaining Cleanliness: Keep the laboratory and surrounding areas clean and organised to promote a safe and efficient workspace.
2. Assisting Technicians: Support laboratory staff by preparing samples and materials as needed.
3. Inventory Management: Help manage stock levels of laboratory supplies and notify the team when replenishments are needed.
4. Waste Disposal: Ensure proper disposal of waste materials in accordance with safety regulations.
5. Transporting Materials: Safely transport samples and equipment between different areas of the laboratory.

Who You Are:

We're on the lookout for someone who is not only capable but also brings a positive attitude to the team. Ideally, you will have:

1. A keen interest in laboratory operations and the sciences.
2. Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
3. The ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
4. Good communication skills and a friendly demeanour.
5. Previous experience in a laboratory setting (preferred but not essential).
