QC Inspector
Job description
Our client is currently recruiting for a QC Inspector. Based in Stonehaven, Aberdeenshire, the role is on a permanent, full-time basis.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Conduct inspections of incoming materials, in-process production, and finished products to ensure compliance with quality standards.
- Perform tests and measurements using various tools and equipment.
- Document inspection results and maintain accurate records.
- Identify and report any deviations or non-conformities to the appropriate personnel.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to address quality issues and implement corrective actions.
- Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance quality control processes.
- Communicate effectively and cooperate with all relevant contractors.
- Provide support to others as identified and required.
- Promote and protect the company image.
- Undertake tasks as required.
- Be diligent and professional in pursuit of job.
- Implement the company's QHSE system in all aspects of project activities.
REQUIREMENTS
- Previous experience as a Quality Control Inspector or similar role preferred.
- Strong knowledge of quality assurance principles and practices.
- Familiarity with HACCP (Hazard Analysis Critical Control Point) guidelines and regulations.
- Ability to analyse data and interpret technical specifications.
- Detail-oriented with excellent organizational skills.
- Effective communication skills, both verbal and written.
