We're a growing digital marketing agency with a range of exciting clients across the private and public sector. Due to recent client wins, we're looking for a detail-oriented and proactive Quality Assurance Tester to join us in building impactful and user-centric web solutions for our diverse client base.


The role
We’re looking for an experienced QA Tester to join our growing Tech team. As a QA Tester, you’ll play a crucial role in the development lifecycle, ensuring the quality and reliability of our web and mobile applications.


Working closely with developers, designers, and project managers, you’ll design and execute test plans, identify bugs, and provide feedback to improve product functionality and performance. Your keen eye for detail and commitment to quality will help us deliver outstanding digital experiences to our clients.


You'll be responsible for:

  1. Designing, developing, and executing test plans, test cases, and scripts for web and mobile applications.
  2. Conducting both manual and automated testing to identify, document, and track defects.
  3. Collaborating with developers and project managers to understand project requirements and determine testing scope.
  4. Verifying and validating website and application functionality, performance, and compatibility across various devices and browsers.
  5. Conducting regression testing for updated and new functionality.
  6. Contributing to improving quality assurance processes and testing frameworks.
  7. Documenting test results and creating clear, concise reports for internal and client review.
  8. Keeping up-to-date with industry trends and tools to optimise testing approaches.

The person
Ideally you'll have:

  1. 3+ years experience as a QA Tester in web and/or mobile application testing, ideally experience with Umbraco CMS projects.
  2. Strong understanding of software QA methodologies, tools, and processes.
  3. Proficiency in manual testing, with experience in automated testing tools (e.g., Selenium, Cypress) a plus.
  4. Familiarity with bug tracking tools (e.g., JIRA) and version control systems (e.g., Git).
  5. Solid understanding of cross-browser and cross-device compatibility testing.
  6. Experience with Agile or Scrum development processes.
  7. Excellent analytical and troubleshooting skills.
  8. Clear communication skills and attention to detail.

And fantastic if you also have:

  1. Knowledge of performance testing tools and frameworks.
  2. Familiarity with HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and responsive design concepts.
  3. Experience with API testing tools such as Postman.
  4. Experience working in a dynamic agency environment.
  5. A great attitude and willingness to support colleagues and contribute to a positive team spirit.
  6. A passion to train and share skills with other team members and departments.
