QA Technologist

My client based in Kent is currently seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented QA Technologist to join their Technical/QA Department. This is a crucial role ensuring the highest standards of food safety, quality, and compliance are maintained throughout their operations. The successful candidate will support their commitment to delivering top-quality bakery products while fostering a culture of safety and continuous improvement.

Responsibilities

1. Ensure all materials used in production meet safety, legality, and compliance standards.
2. Lead and support bakery hygiene/GMP compliance audits and testing.
3. Oversee adherence to BRCGS and customer-specific requirements, ensuring we exceed audit expectations.
4. Conduct internal audits (GMP, traceability, mass balance) and manage supplier non-conformances.
5. Perform cleaning validations, lab testing, and environmental monitoring as part of scheduled quality checks.
6. Support third-party audits and prepare traceability and compliance documentation.
