Kandhu Recruitment is working with a leading food manufacturing company supplying a diverse range of chilled and confectionery products to Airlines, Food Service, and Retail sectors. We are looking for a dedicated QA Team Leader to oversee quality assurance processes and maintain high food safety standards.

What’s on Offer:

1. Shift Pattern: 13:30 – 22:00, Monday to Saturday (48-hour week)
2. Competitive Salary: £38,000 - £45,000 per annum

About the Role:

As a QA Team Leader, you will manage a team of four QAs, ensuring that all products meet strict quality and food safety standards. Your key responsibilities include:

1. Developing and implementing robust quality assurance procedures.
2. Conducting regular inspections and audits to uphold quality benchmarks.
3. Analyzing data and trends to drive continuous improvement initiatives.
4. Ensuring compliance with key food safety regulations such as HACCP and GMP.

What We’re Looking For:

1. Experience: 3-5 years in quality assurance within food manufacturing, ideally in ready meals.
2. Education: Degree in Food Science, Quality Assurance, or related field (HACCP, Six Sigma certifications are a plus).
3. Skills: Strong knowledge of food safety regulations, quality control techniques, and analytical problem-solving.
4. Personality: Effective communicator with leadership abilities and a proactive mindset.
