QA/QC Engineer - Complex Construction Projects - Cardiff

An exciting opportunity has come up with one of our international clients who are looking for an experienced QA/QC Engineer to join their UK division, with the first project being in Cardiff, Wales.

The QA/QC Engineer will be responsible for ensuring the quality and compliance of MEP & CSA across their construction project portfolio.

Key responsibilities:

1. Develop quality assurance plans and procedures for MEP works.
2. Review project specifications, drawings, and standards to ensure compliance.
3. Ensure proper documentation and traceability of materials and processes.
4. Monitor installation processes to ensure adherence to approved standards and specifications.
5. Perform tests and inspections on MEP systems (HVAC, plumbing, electrical).

Essential experience:

1. Strong experience in QA/QC for complex construction projects in the UK.
2. Strong knowledge of MEP systems and construction practices.
3. Familiarity with standards and codes (e.g., ASME, ASTM, NFPA).
4. Proficiency in QA/QC tools and software (e.g., AutoCAD, MS Office, Primavera).
5. Educated in Electrical, Mechanical, or other Construction related discipline.
6. Excellent communication skills.
