About Us

We are committed to producing high-quality, safe, and compliant food products. As we continue to grow, we are looking for a Site Quality Manager to lead our Quality Assurance team, ensuring legal, third-party, and customer compliance while fostering a strong food safety culture across the site.

What You'll Be Doing

  1. Leading & Developing the QA Team - Inspire, train, and mentor a multidisciplinary team to drive a strong quality mindset and ensure compliance across all functions.
  2. Driving Food Safety Culture - Promote best practices and accountability, ensuring every department is aligned with food safety and quality standards.
  3. Managing Compliance & Audits - Work alongside the Technical Compliance Manager to prepare for and lead third-party and customer audits, implementing corrective actions where necessary.
  4. Continuous Improvement - Implement robust monitoring systems and drive continuous improvements in food safety, quality, and authenticity.
  5. Collaboration & Communication - Act as the primary contact for quality matters, working with customers, local authorities, and third-party auditors.
  6. Root Cause Analysis & Corrective Actions - Identify and resolve non-conformances, ensuring long-term, effective solutions are in place.
  7. Product Compliance & Validation - Oversee daily quality checks, including weight control, recipe validation, and microbiological testing.
  8. Environmental Monitoring & Pest Control - Manage site hygiene, listeria management, and pest control programs to the highest standards.
  9. Customer Complaints Management - Lead thorough investigations and ensure swift resolution with robust corrective actions.
  10. Cross-Department Collaboration - Work closely with Technical, Operations, Procurement, and Commercial teams to meet business objectives.

What We're Looking For

  1. Degree in Food Science or related discipline (preferred).
  2. Experience at a mid/senior technical level within a fast-paced food manufacturing environment.
  3. Strong leadership skills, with the ability to inspire and develop a high-performing team.
  4. In-depth knowledge of BRCGS global standards, HACCP, and UK retailer Codes of Practice.
  5. Experience in high-care/high-risk food categories such as ready-to-eat protein-based products.
  6. Proven ability to manage audits, corrective actions, and compliance programs.
  7. Strong communication skills and the ability to influence cross-functional teams.
  8. Excellent attention to detail, proactive mindset, and ability to manage multiple priorities.
