Responsibilities:

1. Support the prescribed SSP testing processes, procedures, and standards leading by example.
2. Investigate complex problems reported by internal and external customers.
3. Design, build, and maintain a functional test library using manual/automated test cases.
4. Design scripts using test automation tools (e.g., strategic automation tools).
5. Utilize both manual and automation approaches to derive the appropriate testing regimes.
6. Work closely with business analysts, architects, and developers to assist in requirements reviews and bridge the gap between requirements and test planning (functional, regression testing).
7. Assist the test lead/manager during planning and estimation sessions to challenge estimates as necessary.
8. Support all phases of test/warranty phases as required.
9. Adequately test application/software demonstrating that components meet all functional and non-functional requirements.
10. Take all reasonable steps to complete testing assignments within realistic deadlines, providing regular updates on progress.
11. Transition knowledge to peers on test scenarios, test cases, functional testing, and regression testing.
12. Analyze and evaluate inquiries/problem reports and make recommendations.
13. Able to rapidly prototype new solutions and willing to contribute own ideas.

Minimum Requirements:

Must have insurance knowledge on personal lines.
