Are you an experienced QA Auditor with a passion for food safety and quality? We are partnering with a leading food manufacturer based near Cambridge to find a talented QA Auditor to join their growing team. This is a fantastic opportunity to work with a forward-thinking company dedicated to producing high-quality food products while ensuring compliance with industry regulations. The Role

As the QA Auditor, you will be responsible for overseeing and evaluating food safety and quality control processes throughout the manufacturing site. You will ensure that products meet internal and regulatory quality standards, conducting audits, identifying areas for improvement, and supporting the team in driving corrective actions. Your role will directly contribute to maintaining high food safety standards and fostering a culture of continuous improvement.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Conduct Audits: Carry out regular internal audits of manufacturing processes, raw materials, and finished goods to ensure compliance with food safety regulations and company quality standards.
  2. Identify and Address Non-Conformances: Detect any deviations or non-conformances, document findings, and collaborate with production teams to implement corrective and preventive actions.
  3. Data Review and Analysis: Analyse quality performance data, review inspection reports, and monitor trends to identify areas for improvement.
  4. Maintain Documentation: Ensure accurate and detailed documentation of audits, inspection findings, and corrective actions in line with regulatory and internal requirements.
  5. Prepare for External Audits: Support the business in preparing for audits from external bodies, customers, and certification agencies.
  6. Train and Support Staff: Provide training on quality control processes, food safety regulations, and best practices to improve awareness and compliance across the site.
  7. Contribute to Continuous Improvement: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive continuous improvement initiatives, ensuring quality management systems are effectively maintained and enhanced.
