Our Technology division was formed to lead on our CWT 3.0 digital transformation strategy. With a team of highly skilled and experienced individuals, they deliver and manage efficient, quality, and innovative travel technology solutions and technology services for CWT and its customers worldwide.

We are looking for a Python Software Engineer to join our Data Science team at CWT. This engineer will be responsible for building and enhancing the functionalities of an in-house chatbot.

This role will involve working closely with Machine Learning engineers and other developers across the organization, as well as the product team.

Daily Responsibilities

• Developing new features for the chatbot backend in Python.
• Ensuring good test coverage of the codebase.
• Managing CI/CD and regular releases.
• Collaborating with product and other technical teams for feature integration.

Qualifications

Key Skillsets and Qualifications

• Degree in computer science, information technology, engineering, or equivalent.
• At least 2 years of experience in Python programming.
• Strong skills in software engineering.
• Proficient in writing Python code with good quality and test coverage.
• Good knowledge of data structures and common design patterns.
• Comfortable working with Linux and bash scripting.

Desired Skillset

• Experience with AWS.
• Familiarity with Git.
• Exposure to Terraform.

Please note this is a hybrid position and the successful candidate will be required to work from our London office 2 days a week.
