Python Developer – Remote

We are seeking a talented and experienced Python Developer to join our client's team. In this role, you will be responsible for building and maintaining user-friendly, web-based software and applications. Responsibilities

1. Develop and maintain web applications: Write efficient, reusable, and reliable Python code to create and support online applications.
2. Collaborate with cross-functional teams: Work closely with developers, designers, and product managers to develop high-quality software solutions.
3. Implement security and data protection: Ensure applications and data are secure by applying best practices and industry standards.
4. Debug and troubleshoot: Identify and resolve bugs and performance issues.
5. Write unit and integration tests: Maintain and enhance test coverage to ensure software stability and reliability.
6. Participate in code reviews: Provide feedback on code written by peers to maintain code quality.
7. Stay updated with industry trends: Keep up with advancements in Python and related technologies to integrate best practices and modern tools.
8. Document code and processes: Create clear and comprehensive documentation for development workflows and codebase.
9. Knowledge sharing: Mentor and support less experienced developers to enhance team capabilities.

Your Skills & Experience

1. 3+ years experience developing and testing web applications using Python.
2. Strong expertise in Python programming language.
3. Experience with Django and/or writing and maintaining REST APIs.
4. Proficiency in database design and management.
5. Ability to multi-task and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
6. Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to devise creative solutions.
7. Excellent planning and organisational skills, with the ability to work under competing deadlines.
8. Quick learner with strong self-motivation and organisational skills.
9. Keen attention to detail.

Desirable

1. Experience with Vue.js.
2. Familiarity with Python Flask.
3. Experience working with the Laravel PHP Framework.
4. Understanding of CI/CD best practices and implementation.
5. Strong debugging and troubleshooting skills.
