Python Developer

Role: Senior Python Developer

Location: Bank - London / Hybrid

Salary: Up to £140k + bonus

Our client is looking for a Senior Python developer to join them at a Crypto Hedge Fund - they have offices in Zurich, but are looking for a team to build out a new London office.

You will work closely with the Head of Trading and Director, in a brand new team working mainly with Python, C#, and C++. Your work will involve building out a brand new HFT crypto platform, improving exchange trading connectivity, optimizing latency, and collaborating with the engineering team on machine learning-based projects. Hands-on management as well as working at a trading platform and developing features and applications from scratch is preferred, ideally in a small team or startup/scale-up environment.

Ideal candidates will have:

• 4+ years of experience working at a trading platform
• Crypto platform experience is preferred but not required; interest in financial and crypto markets would be an advantage or previously having worked on a trading platform (any assets)
• Experience building market-making and options systems
• Experience working in a fast-paced environment
