Key Responsibilities as the Purchasing Manager:

1. Manage, coach, and develop the purchasing team to enhance their skills and strategic focus.
2. Implement procurement processes for supplier selection, assessment, management, and validation.
3. Identify opportunities for cost savings.
4. Negotiate and manage contracts to optimise cost, quality, and delivery terms.
5. Develop the ERP system to improve business performance and reporting functions.
6. Communicate market changes and potential supply impacts to the business.

What You Need to Apply:

1. Proven experience in leading and developing purchasing/procurement teams.
2. Strong knowledge of MRP/ERP systems and their application in driving business improvements.
3. Strategic purchasing experience, including supplier assessment, validation, cost reduction, and new supplier selection.

Your Package:

1. Competitive salary of £42,000-£50,000 (dependent on experience)
2. Pension scheme
3. 25 days holiday plus bank holidays

Your Working Hours:

Monday to Thursday: 8 am-4:30 pm, Fridays: 8 am-2:30 pm
