The Role: Purchasing Finance Administrator

As a Purchasing Finance Administrator, you'll play a crucial role in ensuring smooth and accurate processing of purchasing and VAT-related financial tasks. You'll work closely with internal stakeholders and help maintain compliance and control around the company credit card processes.

Key Responsibilities

1. Compile and distribute monthly statements to cardholders using downloaded financial data.
2. Verify that all returned invoices meet VAT requirements.
3. Promptly follow up with cardholders who miss deadlines or submit incomplete documents.
4. Identify and resolve mismatches between invoices and credit card statements.
5. Record transactions in the finance system accurately and promptly.
6. Act as the main contact for online purchases made via the company credit card.
7. Prepare and submit quarterly VAT returns in line with reporting schedules.

About You

The ideal Purchasing Finance Administrator will have:

1. Strong organisational and time management skills.
2. Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in financial processing.
3. Confident communication skills, with the ability to follow up on missing or incomplete information.
4. Experience using financial systems and software.
5. Knowledge of VAT rules and processes (preferred but not essential).
