Your Role as Purchasing Manager

You'll play a pivotal role in managing and controlling the procurement of materials, goods, and services across multiple projects, ensuring seamless coordination between Project Managers, Material Controllers, and Manufacturing teams.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Source and purchase materials, components, and services in line with technical, quality, and delivery requirements.
2. Negotiate contracts and secure cost-effective deals with suppliers.
3. Prepare and manage purchase orders aligned with supplier agreements.
4. Work cross-functionally with internal teams and suppliers to support new designs and project procurement needs.
5. Provide procurement insights and strategy, identifying opportunities for cost savings and process improvements.

What We're Looking For:

1. Proven experience in buying/procurement within an engineering or manufacturing environment.
2. Strong knowledge of technical equipment and materials procurement.
3. Ability to manage multiple projects, negotiate effectively, and build lasting supplier relationships.
4. Membership of the Chartered Institute of Procurement & Supply (CIPS) is ideal.
