Job description

Involve Recruitment (Midlands) Ltd are working with a privately owned Design and manufacturing successful business in the Bilston area to recruit for a PERMANENT PURCHASING SPECIALIST!

Salary: up to £35,000

Working Hours: Monday to Friday 9am to 5pm

Ideal Person: CIPS qualified or working towards

Responsibilities:
  • Raise and manage purchase orders based on current and forecasted demand, considering supplier lead-times to minimise late deliveries / stock shortages.
  • Analyse stock levels.
  • Develop and maintain good relationships with suppliers.
  • Coordinate the introduction of new fabrics and swatch requirements with Customer Account Managers.
  • Manage the Stores Team; confirm daily deliveries, back in stock dates, help resolve discrepancies / stock issues.

  • Excellent attention to detail.
  • Resourceful with the ability to use own initiative.
  • Enthusiastic, outgoing and dynamic personality.
  • A clear confident, verbal and written communicator.
  • Excellent Excel skills.
  • Strong data analysis skills.
