Job description

As part of their exciting expansion plans, our client is looking for a skilled and dedicated Purchaser to join their growing team. With their annual purchases projected to grow from ?3.5 million to ?4-4.5 million this year, this is a fantastic opportunity to play a key role in shaping their purchasing strategy.


As a Purchaser, you will manage the purchasing process, negotiate with suppliers, and oversee the purchasing team. You will work closely with both internal teams and external suppliers to ensure competitive pricing, product availability, and strong supplier relationships as the company scales.

  4. Profit Maximisation & Pricing Strategy

Key Skills & Experience:
  1. Proven experience in a purchasing role, ideally within the IT sector.
  2. Strong negotiation skills with a history of securing favourable terms with suppliers.
  3. Leadership experience, with the ability to manage and motivate a team.
  4. Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
  5. Knowledge of IT hardware/software and pricing trends is a plus.
  6. Strong organisational skills, with the ability to handle multiple priorities.
