Job Title: Purchase Ledger Clerk
Location: Leeds
Salary: Up to GBP28,000 per annum

Anderselite are delighted to be working with a housing provider based in Leeds to recruit a Purchase Ledger Clerk to join their busy finance team. This is a fantastic opportunity to contribute to a company that makes a real difference in people's lives.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Processing a high volume of invoices accurately and efficiently.
2. Matching, batching, and coding invoices.
3. Preparing payment runs.
4. Reconciling supplier statements.
5. Dealing with supplier queries in a timely and professional manner.
6. Maintaining accurate records and filing systems.
7. Assisting with month–end closing procedures.

Essential Requirements:

1. Proven experience as a Purchase Ledger Clerk.
2. Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
3. Excellent organisational and time management skills.
4. Good communication and interpersonal skills.
5. Proficiency in using accounting software packages (e.g., Sage, SAP, Oracle).
6. Good working knowledge of Microsoft Excel – vlookup, pivot tables etc.

Benefits:

1. 35 hours working week (Monday to Friday).
2. GBP28,000 per annum.
