Purchase Ledger Clerk | Telford | Temp to Perm | Onsite | £26,000 - £30,000


Seymour John is exclusively partnering with a large manufacturing business in Telford to recruit an experienced Purchase Ledger Clerk. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a global organisation and play a key role in their accounts function. The position involves processing a high volume of invoices and liaising with multiple internal and external stakeholders.


Key Responsibilities
  1. Manage and process a high volume of purchase invoices.
  2. Liaise with the supply chain and procurement teams.
  3. Investigate and resolve invoice queries.
  4. Communicate professionally with suppliers.
  5. Manage payment runs and supplier accounts.
  6. Set up and maintain supplier account details.
  7. Ensure suppliers are paid accurately and on time.

Who We're Looking For
  1. Ideally AAT qualified (or equivalent).
  2. Proven bookkeeping or purchase ledger experience, ideally within an accountancy practice or in a standalone role.
  3. Excellent telephone manner and communication skills.
  4. A resilient, process-driven professional with strong attention to detail.
  5. Proficient in SAP B1 and Microsoft Excel.
  6. Demonstrated experience handling a high volume of invoices with accuracy and efficiency.
