Job description

PUPIL SUPPORT / CLASSROOM ASSISTANT At Tidbury Green School, Dickens Heath Road, Solihull, B90 1QW

PAY RANGE: Band C £25992 - £28624, Pro Rata £18778 - £20676 Required from 28th April 2025

Hours: 8:45am - 3:30pm Mon-Fri, Term Time only, including 5 INSET days. Hours: 31.25 hours per week.


The Governors and Headteacher are seeking to appoint an outstanding, experienced Level 3 Teaching Assistant to join our thriving and dedicated team at Tidbury Green School. In response to inclusion and school growth, an exciting opportunity to join our team is available from 28th April 2025. You must have:

  1. An outstanding attitude and commitment to going over and above to support the safety and care of our pupils.
  2. Level 3 Childcare and Education qualification or equivalent.
  3. Successful education experience with children from 4 - 11 years.
  4. A commitment to continuous professional development.
  5. Excellent communication skills, organisation, professionalism and the ability to work as part of a hard-working team.
  6. Knowledge of the support for children with additional needs and National Curriculum framework.
  7. At least two years classroom school experience, including supporting children directly with additional needs.
  8. Experience of leading teaching and learning with either a whole class, small groups and individual pupils with an EHCP.
  9. Ability to provide a nurturing and consistent relationship with children.
