Required to join a leading electromechanical engineering manufacturer based near Sheffield.

The Successful Mechanical Fitter / Pump Engineer / Pump Fitter will provide service, maintenance, and repair of pumps and pump-related products at the workshop near Sheffield.

The Mechanical Fitter / Pump Engineer / Pump Fitter will have a good mechanical engineering background with experience servicing, maintaining, and fitting pumps and pump-related products.

Mechanical Fitter / Pump Engineer / Pump Fitter Role:

1. Provide service, maintenance, and repair of pumps and pump-related products at the workshop near Sheffield.
2. Carry out testing of pump products, ensuring all components are correctly fitted and operational before delivery.
3. Identify machinery damage and conduct basic electrical testing if required.
4. Complete technical documentation as work progresses.
5. Perform other duties as assigned and liaise with various engineering departments.

Mechanical Fitter / Pump Engineer / Pump Fitter Requirements:

1. Experience as a rotating equipment engineer, pump engineer, pump fitter, hydraulic fitter, hydraulic engineer, valve technician, installation engineer, mechanical fitter, electro-mechanical fitter, or similar.
2. Good mechanical engineering background with experience servicing, maintaining, and fitting pumps and pump-related products.
3. Experience and ability to conduct testing and control checks on pumps.
4. An engineering qualification, Apprentice trained, HNC, HND, or Degree would be advantageous.
5. Willingness to commute to the workshop near Sheffield and carry out work on customer sites in the area.
