Required to join a leading electromechanical engineering manufacturer based near Sheffield.

The Successful Mechanical Fitter / Pump Engineer / Pump Fitter will provide service, maintenance, repair of pumps and pump related products at the workshop near Sheffield.

The Mechanical Fitter / Pump Engineer / Pump Fitter will have a good mechanical engineering background with experience servicing, maintaining and fitting pumps and pump related products.

Mechanical Fitter / Pump Engineer / Pump Fitter Role:

• Will provide service, maintenance, repair of pumps and pumps related products at the workshop near Sheffield.
• Will also carry out testing of pump products, ensuring all components are correctly fitted and operational before delivery.
• Identify machinery damage and conduct basic electrical testing if required.
• Ability to complete technical documentation as work progresses.
• To perform other duties as assigned from time to time and liaise with various engineering departments.

Mechanical Fitter / Pump Engineer / Pump Fitter Requirements:

• Experience as a rotating equipment engineer, pump engineer, pump fitter, fitter, hydraulic fitter, hydraulic engineer, valve technician, installation engineer, pump installation engineer, mechanical fitter, electro-mechanical fitter, mechanical engineer, service engineer, electrical engineer, workshop engineer, service technician or similar.
• Will have a good mechanical engineering background with experience servicing, maintaining and fitting pumps and pump related products.
• Will ideally have the experience and ability to conduct testing and control checks on pumps.
• An engineering qualification, Apprentice trained, HNC, HND or Degree would be advantageous.
• Willingness to commute to the workshop near Sheffield and carry out work on customer sites in the area.
