Mechanical Fitter / Pump Engineer / Pump Fitter Required to join a leading electromechanical engineering manufacturer based near Sheffield.
The Successful Mechanical Fitter / Pump Engineer / Pump Fitter will provide service, maintenance, repair of pumps and pump related products at the workshop near Sheffield.
The Mechanical Fitter / Pump Engineer / Pump Fitter will have a good mechanical engineering background with experience servicing, maintaining and fitting pumps and pump related products.
Package 34,000 - 38,000 Overtime Annual bonus Pension Additional benefits Mechanical Fitter / Pump Engineer / Pump Fitter Role: Will provide service, maintenance, repair of pumps and pumps related products at the workshop near Sheffield. Will also carry out testing of pump products, ensuring all components are correctly fitted and operational before delivery. Identify machinery damage and conduct basic electrical testing if required. Ability to complete technical documentation as work progresses. To perform other duties as assigned from time to time and liaise with various engineering departments. Mechanical Fitter / Pump Engineer / Pump Fitter Requirements: Experience as a rotating equipment engineer, pump engineer, pump fitter, fitter, hydraulic fitter, hydraulic engineer, valve technician, installation engineer, pump installation engineer, mechanical fitter, electro-mechanical fitter, mechanical engineer, service engineer, electrical engineer, workshop engineer, service technician or similar. Will have a good mechanical engineering background with experience servicing, maintaining and fitting pumps and pump related products. Will ideally have the experience and ability to conduct testing and control checks on pumps. An engineering qualification, Apprentice trained, HNC, HND or Degree would be advantageous.
