Our collaborative and global team is expanding, and we are looking for an ambitious Senior Account Executive to join us.
Key Responsibilities
- Serve as day-to-day support for 5-6 clients, managing both strategy and execution
- Support the Account Lead to ensure KPIs are met across all clients
- Research and write press releases, op-eds, case studies, and blog posts
- Develop story angles to help meet the client KPIs
- Pitch clients’ stories to strategic media outlets and key journalists
- Ensure the quality of deliverables meets the highest standards while fulfilling client requirements
- Formulate media strategies and maintain strong relationships with clients
- Act as the liaison on behalf of clients and represent them with the media as needed
- Participate in the new business process including research, proposal, and pitch preparation
Minimum Requirements
- Candidate must have the right to work in the UK
- At least 1-2 years of experience or educational background in Public Relations, Communications, or Journalism
- Knowledge of the fintech, blockchain, or cryptocurrency space or a genuine desire to learn about it
- Media relationships with financial, tech, and mainstream press
- Track record of successfully pitching client stories to tier 1 & 2 media publications
- Outstanding organisational, multi-tasking, and time-management skills
- Strong attention to detail: excellent spelling, grammar, and proof-reading skills
- High motivation and the ability to work independently under pressure
- Strong news sense and a knack for storytelling
- Flair for creativity, strategic thinking, and innovation
- Strong interpersonal skills when dealing with clients and media
- Willing to communicate with memes
- Experience with a range of communication platforms (Telegram, Slack, X (formerly Twitter), and Discord)
