About the Account Director role

1. Client Relations: Take the lead with maintaining and expanding long-standing client relationships, identifying new opportunities to add value and rigor to the service they receive from you.
2. Strategic Role: Provide a strategic overview of clients’ needs and objectives, while maintaining a hands-on approach to deliver results.
3. Team Leadership: Manage a team of 2-3 Account Managers/Executives.
4. Mentorship: Mentor junior team members, fostering growth and development within the agency.
5. Business Development: Contribute to new business initiatives by developing pitches and presentations.

Experience Required for the Account Director role

1. Agency Background: Minimum of 4-5 years of experience in an agency setting.
2. Proven Expertise: Already operating at the Account Director level, with a strong track record in B2B PR, particularly within professional services, commercial property, construction, or legal sectors.
3. Strategic Insight: Ability to think strategically while executing tactical plans.
4. Gravitas: A mature, confident approach, with the ability to inspire trust and confidence in clients.
5. Business Acumen: Commercially savvy with an appetite for new business and growth.
6. Mentoring Skills: Enthusiasm for mentoring and developing younger team members.
