An engaging / experienced Public Health Specialist to work in Public Health, Wellbeing & Communities at Lancashire County Council.
We are seeking an experienced professional to join us on our journey towards a better future for our communities, where everyone can live their best life. As a Public Health Specialist, you will lead and play a crucial role in addressing the wider determinants of health, being the driving force of areas such as spatial planning, transport, air quality, welfare rights, financial resilience, economic inactivity and recovery, and employee wellbeing. You will play an important part in tackling health inequalities and improving the well-being of Lancashire's population with your determination and commitment to achieve the best possible outcomes.
As a leader in the Wider Determinants of Health team, you'll cultivate a positive and supportive atmosphere. You will promote a culture of continuous learning and take an optimistic approach to challenges. In developing a Health in all policies approach, you will be providing policy recommendations with collated evidence, intelligence, and best practice and working to embed changes using your influential nature. Knowledge and experience within the public health sector is an essential attribute to provide an effective service.
