On behalf of Protocol Education, we are seeking Psychology, Criminology, and Sociology graduates to work as SEMH (Social, Emotional, and Mental Health) and SEND (Special Educational Needs and Disabilities) Support Assistants in primary and secondary SEND schools across Newcastle.
This full-time, term-time role (Monday to Friday) is a fantastic opportunity to apply your academic knowledge while supporting children who have experienced trauma, helping them succeed both socially and academically.
Your background in understanding human behaviour, mental health, and social systems makes you ideally suited to support young people facing emotional and behavioural challenges. This role is particularly valuable if you are considering future careers in educational psychology, counselling, social work, teaching, or youth justice.
At Protocol Education, we specialise in connecting talented individuals with rewarding roles in schools. Our mission is to make a real difference in the lives of children and young people by providing high-quality support staff who are dedicated to helping every student succeed.
If you’re a Psychology, Criminology, or Sociology graduate ready to make a meaningful impact, we want to hear from you.
Submit your CV today, and a member of our Protocol Education team will be in touch to discuss how you can support children with trauma in Newcastle schools.
