A well-respected specialist school in Woking is looking for a Behaviour Mentor to support children with Social, Emotional and Mental Health (SEMH) needs. The students range between 10 and 16 years old and face a range of social, emotional, and mental health needs and challenges including trauma, anxiety, OCD, and behavioural issues. The students therefore need an Intervention and Pastoral Assistant who will be dedicated to being a consistent role model, committed to building strong relationships, empathetic, and up for a challenge! The school is located in the beautiful Surrey Hills and has on-site parking.
The ideal Behaviour Mentor must be open-minded, resilient, and knowledgeable about mental health. The perfect candidate will have experience with SEN children and/or adults in any setting. Graduates in Psychology, Criminology, or Counselling would also be perfect for this position.

Start date: ASAP
Salary: £80-£100 per day, Mon-Fri, 8.30am-4pm, term time only
Training: Excellent on-site training, support, and CPD is provided to ensure safeguarding of all students.
