Job Advert Location Description

We are seeking a part time Psychology Assistant to join the team at the Priory in Ticehurst. This is a fantastic opportunity for a psychology assistant working towards professional registration/accreditation. The successful post holder will work within a multidisciplinary context to assist professional and clinical staff with the planning, implementation, and evaluation of therapy and care plans in order to support the mental, emotional, physical, and social well-being of assigned clients, their carers, and their families.

You will be highly motivated and enthusiastic, an excellent communicator, and hold a psychology degree whilst working towards professional registration/accreditation. Experience in a clinical setting would be an advantage.

We will offer the right candidate the opportunity and support to further their interest and develop skills in many different areas. They will receive support and direction from our established Psychology team. Under the supervision of the clinical psychologist on the unit, you will assist in delivering interventions with individuals and the facilitation of group work along with record keeping, case notes, and presenting and sharing relevant information with MDT colleagues.

We offer comprehensive inpatient and outpatient specialist mental health services for adults in a safe and supportive environment.
