Job title: PCV Technician
Location: Wethersfield Road, Sible Hedingham, Halstead, Colchester, Essex, CO9 3LB
Hours: Early and late shift rotating, any 5 out of 6 days (No Sundays)
Reporting to: Engineering Manager.
As a PCV Mechanical Engineer, you will service, maintain, and repair our fleet in a safe, efficient, and economical manner to the required legal, regulatory, and company standards.
- Carrying out routine maintenance and repairs on a variety of vehicle types.
- Diagnosing and rectifying all types of vehicle faults, using diagnostic equipment.
- MOT preparation.
- Repairing all vehicles as required to company and DVSA standards.
- Maintaining and completing vehicle and Company documentation.
- Liaising with the parts department to attain correct parts.
- Ensuring health & safety regulations and safe working practices are adhered to.
- Level 3 HGV City & Guilds/NVQ or equivalent.
- Previous experience working in the automotive industry.
- PCV Licence or willing to work towards acquiring this.
