  • Prepare vehicles for MOT and ensure compliance with standards.

Skills

Level 3 HGV City & Guilds/NVQ or equivalent
Previous experience in the automotive industry
PCV Licence or willingness to acquire

Early and late shift rotating, any 5 out of 6 days (No Sundays)

Engineering Manager


As a PCV Mechanical Engineer, you will service, maintain, and repair our fleet in a safe, efficient, and economical manner to the required legal, regulatory, and company standards.


PCV Technician Engineer Duties:
  • Carrying out routine maintenance and repairs on a variety of vehicle types
  • Diagnosing and rectifying all types of vehicle faults, using diagnostic equipment
  • MOT preparation
  • Repair all vehicles as required to company and DVSA standards
  • Maintain and complete vehicle and company documentation
  • Liaising with the parts department to attain correct parts
  • Ensuring health & safety regulations and safe working practices are adhered to

PCV Technician Engineer Skills:
  • Level 3 HGV City & Guilds/NVQ or equivalent
  • Previous experience working in the automotive industry
  • PCV Licence or willing to work towards acquiring this
