The Artificial Intelligence computing for the discovery of the governing knowledge of real-world systems is important. The proposed research aims to integrate symbolic computing with machine learning models. This project develops Explainable Artificial Intelligence Computing for the knowledge discovery application, contributing to cutting-edge research in the field of Artificial Intelligence knowledge discovery computing.
This PhD studentship offers a unique opportunity to delve into the world of Machine Learning and Knowledge Discovery. The successful candidate will work on this innovative project, advancing the frontiers of this exciting field. This project could lead to Artificial Intelligence computing breakthroughs that impact data-intensive applications.
The PhD candidate will work with a dynamic team of researchers, led by experts in Artificial Intelligence. The candidate will have access to state-of-the-art research resources and training.

Minimum Requirements:
Applicants for PhD MUST hold an undergraduate degree at 2.1 level in Computer Science, Mathematics, or a closely related discipline, or an appropriate master’s degree with a minimum overall grade at ‘Merit’ (or Non-UK equivalent as defined by Swansea University).
