An exciting opportunity has arisen for an individual to undertake the role of Protecting Vulnerable People Administrator at the Central Referral Unit. This is a co-located, multi-agency referral unit which deals with the referral of vulnerable persons to partner support agencies.
This is a challenging role that requires the holder to organise and prioritise a workload arising from information, referrals and requests from partner agencies, police officers and staff.
The role holder will provide effective and efficient support to the department by dealing with enquiries, inputting data, and researching various IT systems (including PNC, PND and Athena).
The holder will complete reports and updates to officers, staff, and external agencies, create and accurately record crimes and non-crime incidents and send and receive referrals to local authorities in relation to all areas of safeguarding (e.g. adult abuse, child abuse and domestic abuse).
The role has a shift pattern which includes early and late shifts, seven days a week.
