• New addition to a growing team focused on helping QC fulfil its Financial Planning Proposition requirements as part of being its own Directly Authorised organisation. The role will focus on enabling the team to ensure propositions remain competitive, compliant, and compelling. Specifically focusing on managing product/provider relationships, managing panels and conducting research/due diligence, as well as supporting the team, Financial Planners, and support teams to deliver key objectives and succeed whilst delivering exceptional client outcomes.
• This role reports to the Head of Commercial Development and forms part of the overall Proposition team. Over time as the team develops, this reporting line is likely to change to report into a Financial Planning Proposition Manager.
• You must have a robust understanding of Consumer Duty and the principles of fair value and target market operation. A knowledge of the PROD source book would also be an advantage. Whilst this isn't a directly customer facing role, the duties you will perform will contribute to the overall positive outcomes for our clients.

- The purpose of this role is to help the team establish, maintain, and improve a competitive Financial Planning proposition as part of new regulatory permissions being taken by Quilter Cheviot. This will include a wide range of tasks and requires a strong working knowledge of financial planning and wealth management.
- Helping to support the maintenance of a standalone proposition including an offering across Investment and pensions, Mortgages and Protection, and other complex needs and requirements. Specifically covering the propositions themselves, but also relationships with providers to establish a close working relationship. Likely including holding regular provider liaison meetings to ensure any queries or questions can be resolved as well as gaining an understanding over any product of provider developments. You will work closely with our panel providers ensuring the sales data is monitored and any irregularities escalated.
- You will be responsible for ensuring our whole proposition is regularly reviewed and remains fit for purpose. You will also be responsible for managing the concession process ensuring any trends are analysed and recommendations made to help close any propositional gaps.
- You will work alongside other analysis within the business who are responsible for provider system access and payment and valuation data flows.
- You may also support with professional introducers and affiliate partner relationships.
- You will also work in close collaboration with other departments of the business to help effectively manage any propositional change delivery.
Responsibilities- You will lead the review cycle when assessing the appropriateness of our current panel providers, including the Request for Information (RFI).
- You will manage the concessions process for any deviation from the CIP or Product panel.
- You will analyse trends from provider and management information.
About YouWe are looking for a candidate who has the following:
- You will have extensive organisational skills, be able to undertake detailed analysis, especially when doing complex tasks.
- You will have had experience working with providers, acting as a liaison, ensuring clear communication with stakeholders at all stages.
- You will establish and develop key provider relationships.
- You will establish provider sales data MI to ensure there is an overview of all business written.
- You will be proficient in Excel and/or other database applications.
- You will have the ability to present findings to key stakeholders as and when required.
- Be curious and proactive in problem-solving and know how to be resourceful.
- You will communicate clearly and translate complex topics and logic into simple and understandable steps for others.
- You must be able to multi-task and meet tight deadlines, whilst still having a positive attitude to build strong relationships with both internal and external stakeholders.
- Lastly, working well in a team is important, but the ability to work individually and manage your own workload will also be required as part of the role.
