Property Solicitor – St Albans

Salary: As a Residential & Commercial Property Solicitor, you’ll manage a wide-ranging caseload including residential sales and purchases, remortgages, and land acquisition and disposal. You’ll also support and supervise paralegals and assistants within the team, while playing a key role in maintaining high standards of client care and compliance.

What You’ll Do:

• Run a busy caseload of residential and commercial conveyancing matters independently
• Handle transactions from instruction to completion, ensuring efficiency and compliance
• Supervise and support junior members of the property team as required
• Build strong working relationships with clients, estate agents, and referrers
• Contribute to the continued growth and success of the department
• Ensure compliance with CQS, Lexcel, lender panel, and Land Registry requirements

The Ideal Candidate:

To succeed as a Residential & Commercial Property Solicitor, you will ideally have:

• 5+ years PQE as a Solicitor (or equivalent qualification and experience)
• Confidence in managing your own files and supervising support staff
• A solid background in both residential and commercial property law
• Experience working with CQS, Lexcel, lender panels, and Land Registry compliance
• Strong communication and client relationship skills
• A dedicated, flexible, and proactive approach to your work
