Investment Consultant

Our client is on a mission to create positive change through property investing, empowering their team, clients, tenants, guests, and local communities to live better and thrive. This role focuses on selling investment properties to clients who are already signed up to and paid to engage with their service. You’ll take over after the initial consultation stage, guiding clients through the property selection process and helping them confidently proceed with their investment.
They are seeking a confident, commercially-minded individual with strong consultative selling skills – someone who thrives in a high-performance, target-driven environment and is passionate about helping people make smart investment decisions.

Location:

  • Newcastle/Gateshead – Hybrid (Part-remote, with in-office/client days as required)

Pay and Benefits:

  • Basic salary per annum: £27,000 – £28,000 depending on experience
  • Commissions and performance bonuses: OTE £45,000 – £48,000

  • Flexible Working: Enjoy the freedom to balance work and life on your terms (40 hours per week, Monday – Friday, flexible across the hours of 8am – 6pm)
  • 25 days (pro-rata if part-time) in the complete holiday year, plus additional day off for your birthday. As part of this, you are required to take leave on the (non-UK Bank Holiday) days between 25th December and 1st January
  • The holiday year runs from 1 April to 31 March
  • Plus, public/bank holidays

This is a hybrid client-facing role. You’ll represent the brand with professionalism and enthusiasm, working with a warm pipeline of engaged investors. You’ll need to be highly organised, a strong communicator, and comfortable managing a portfolio of clients through to deal completion.

Role Objective:

  • Drive revenue by selling investment properties to existing clients
  • Deliver a high-quality, consultative sales experience that builds trust and confidence
  • Meet or exceed monthly and quarterly KPIs

Responsibilities and Duties include but are not limited to:

  • Guide clients through the process of reviewing and selecting suitable property investments
  • Present deals clearly and effectively, answering questions and handling objections
  • Liaise with internal teams (including Sourcing and Client Care) to ensure accurate and timely deal information is shared with clients
  • Maintain regular communication with clients to keep deals moving and ensure a smooth experience
  • Support clients in decision-making by offering insight, clarity, and reassurance
  • Achieve and exceed sales targets and revenue goals

Process & Reporting:

  • Accurately track client interactions and progress through the CRM
  • Maintain an up-to-date understanding of available stock and investment options
  • Collaborate with the Sales Director to improve conversion rates and sales outcomes
  • Provide input into deal presentation, FAQs, and objections handling resources

Skills and Experience:

  • Minimum 1 year of experience in sales, ideally in a consultative or high-value product/service
  • Proven ability to close deals and meet revenue targets
  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build rapport quickly
  • Excellent verbal and written communication
  • Organised and reliable in managing a portfolio of clients
  • Proactive and confident in following up and progressing deals
  • Comfortable working in a hybrid environment with both remote and in-person collaboration
  • Background in property sales or investment advisory
  • Understanding of the UK buy-to-let or property investment market
  • Experience using CRM tools and managing a structured pipeline
  • Familiarity with investment terminology and decision-making drivers
