Our client, a leading firm specialising in Property Risks and Coverage, is seeking an Assistant Lawyer to join their Recoveries team. The role is an excellent opportunity to work on high-value cases at a firm that prioritises employee growth and career development.

As a Property Risks and Coverage Assistant Lawyer, you will manage a caseload of Household and Commercial Property recovery files for prominent insurance clients. Your key responsibilities will include:

• Conducting initial reviews and reports.
• Handling disclosure, evidence review, and investigations.
• Preparing and drafting legal documents, including pre-action applications and trial documents.
• Liaising with clients, counsel, and experts.
• Managing settlement negotiations, drafting Part 36 offers, and engaging in ADR/mediation.
• Conducting advocacy by telephone and in person.
• Ensuring compliance with Regulatory standards.

The ideal candidate:

• Experience in defendant insurance litigation and recoveries.
• Familiarity with Household and Commercial Property recoveries.
• Skilled in case management systems; with attention to detail and workload prioritisation.
• Confident in liaising with clients and delivering presentations.
