Job description

Property Officer

In this role you will be responsible for building and maintaining effective relationships to source properties, and procure long term contracts, utilising your strong communication skills. You will manage an assigned caseload and travel accordingly to secure the properties in and around the South West of England. You will also carry out procurement administration and meet the set targets required in line with the relevant legislation.

You will need to be living in the Reading area to apply.

Duties include:

  1. Managing assigned caseloads
  2. Travelling to meet stakeholders
  3. Ensure agreed values and ethical standards are met in line with supply chain contracts
  4. Develop and maintain partnerships with local authorities and other stakeholders ensuring compliance at every level.
  5. All values, ethical standards, policies and procedures are met
  6. Manage and report on performance targets
  7. Work with managers and head of department to meet contractual and company requirements
You will need to work closely with your line manager and team members, collaborating and attending meetings as required. It is essential you keep up to date with all written and verbal communication, as is ensuring all records are maintained properly and in accordance with company policies and procedures. You will need to be able to monitor your own work levels, progress and development in the role, and undertake all core learning and development programmes as required.
