We’re looking for a Property Sourcing Officer to drive our property sourcing efforts for the AASC Contract (Asylum Accommodation and Support Contract). Join our Property Sourcing Team within the Property Directorate and play a crucial role in providing safe and secure housing for asylum seekers while their claims are assessed.

What You’ll Be Doing:

1. Drive property acquisition by sourcing and securing properties within the private rental market to meet our targets.
2. Build key relationships by engaging with property agents, investors, and landlords to expand our network.
3. Lead new business generation by identifying and onboarding new property sources for the AASC contract.
4. Manage existing landlords and investors by strengthening relationships to ensure continued support.
5. Ensure compliance and due diligence by following guidelines to maintain high property standards.
6. Attend industry events and represent Serco at networking events, roadshows, and landlord meetings.
7. Collaborate with internal teams by working cross-functionally to optimize property acquisition efforts.
8. Research and innovate by discovering fresh strategies to enhance property sourcing efficiency.

What We’re Looking For:

1. A results-driven professional with strong relationship-building skills.
2. Someone who thrives in a target-oriented and fast-paced environment.
3. Excellent communication and negotiation abilities across various stakeholders.
4. A proactive and adaptable approach to problem-solving and lead generation.
5. Strong organizational and time-management skills.
6. Knowledge of telephony systems and basic MS Excel proficiency.
7. A full and clean driving license is preferred but not essential.
8. Ability to travel as required.
9. CRB Clearance and/or Baseline Security Clearance required.
