Property Manager - Residential Lettings

Our clients are a leading independent estate agent, established over 40 years ago and are owned by an Employee Ownership Trust. They have a passion for property and providing an unrivalled service to their clients, specialising in sales, lettings and property management.

An exciting position has become available for an experienced Lettings professional to join their friendly team. This is a great opportunity for the right candidate who is seeking to further their career with a company that cares for its employees.

We are seeking a competent Lettings Professional, ideally ARLA qualified, who will be capable of increasing overall instruction levels whilst running an established portfolio spread over several local offices.

This is a full-time role Monday to Friday with some Saturdays.

Property Manager - Residential Lettings - Role Responsibilities:

• Building and maintaining good relationships with landlords, tenants and contractors
• Providing consistently high levels of service and communication
• Knowing a client’s requirements to ensure efficient service
• Obtaining viewing feedback and negotiating lets
• Preparing tenancy agreements & renewal agreements
• Ability to serve Section 21, Section 13 and Section 8 notices.
• Arranging gas safety checks, EICRs, EPCs and maintaining compliance records
• Organising and carrying out regular property inspections
• This role does not include dealing with maintenance or finance queries as these roles are covered by colleagues

Property Manager - Residential Lettings - Role Requirements:

• The ARLA qualification would be an advantage, but not essential as help will be given to obtain ARLA qualifications.
• Passionate about providing a superb, professional and friendly service
• Proactive and a positive can-do attitude
• Possess the ability to work on your own initiative as well as part of a team
• Excellent organisational skills, with the ability to multi-task and prioritise workload
• Smart and presentable
• Full UK driving license
• Live within a commutable distance of the several offices.
• Have the right to work in the UK

Property Manager - Residential Lettings - The Package:

• Basic Salary £28,000 - £30,000
• Commission estimated at £5,000
• EOT scheme - percentage of company profit
• Plus the opportunity to earn personal referral income
• 25 days annual leave plus bank holidays
