Block Manager – Developer – Key Duties:

  1. Conduct regular site inspections to ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, building codes, and relevant legislation.
  2. Develop and manage service charge budgets, invoicing, monitor expenditure, and provide accurate financial reports to clients and stakeholders.
  3. Build and maintain positive relationships with residents, leaseholders, and suppliers, dealing with enquiries, concerns, and requests in a professional manner.
  4. Manage the day-to-day operations of blocks, including maintenance, repairs, budgeting, and financial reporting.
  5. Collaborate with other internal teams, such as accounts and legal, to ensure smooth operations and efficient service.
  6. Manage insurance renewals and claims.
  7. Maintain accurate and up-to-date records, files, and documentation related to block management activities.
  8. Keep up to date with changes in legislation and regulations and implement necessary changes to ensure compliance.

Block Manager – Developer – Person Profile:

  1. Previous experience in Block Management.
  2. AIRPM/MIRPM qualification or on the way to completing it.
  3. Experience in budgeting, financial reporting, and financial management.
  4. Strong knowledge of relevant legislation and regulations, including Landlord and Tenant Act, Health and Safety regulations, and Section 20 procedures.
