Property Manager

Are you an experienced Property Manager with a passion for asset management and tenant relations? Our client, a leading real estate investment firm, is seeking a dynamic professional to join their established team in either Glasgow or Edinburgh to manage a diverse portfolio of commercial properties across the UK and Western Europe.

The Role:

1. Oversee day-to-day property management activities, ensuring efficient operations and tenant satisfaction.
2. Manage service charges, including budget preparation, expenditure monitoring, and annual reconciliation.
3. Coordinate with third-party clients, acting as the main point of contact and delivering monthly/quarterly reports.
4. Work closely with Facilities Managers, consultants, and contractors to maintain high standards of service delivery.
5. Ensure Health & Safety compliance, including risk assessments, fire safety, and asbestos management.
6. Conduct regular property inspections to maintain standards and build strong tenant relationships.
7. Manage credit control procedures to ensure timely collection of payments.
8. Supervise site-based staff, ensuring high performance and adherence to company standards.

About You:

1. Proven experience in property management, with a strong understanding of property operations, tenant management, and service charge management.
2. Knowledge of YARDI Property Management Database or similar property management systems.
3. Familiarity with relevant property legislation, health and safety regulations, and compliance standards.
4. Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence and collaborate effectively.
5. Strong analytical and reporting skills with proficiency in MS Office Suite (including PowerPoint and Excel).
6. A team player with proven people management skills and the ability to maintain high standards.
7. MRICS qualification is desirable but not essential.

Salary & Benefits:

Salary: £45,000 - £50,000
