Job Description:

A prominent law firm is actively seeking a skilled Property Litigation Solicitor to join its dynamic team of specialist real estate solicitors, located just a short walk from Blackfriars station in central London.

This is a fantastic opportunity to become part of a firm renowned for its expertise in property law. As their newest Property Litigation Solicitor, you’ll be representing an extraordinarily broad spectrum of clients in contentious property cases, joining a team of seasoned professionals and working closely with highly experienced lawyers with strongly established reputations in this field.

What does this Property Litigation Solicitor job involve?

Your role will primarily focus on development risk work, representing clients from property portfolio holders, charities and retailers, house builders and developers, private individuals and social landlords, to government institutions. This team also receives work from the wider real estate department within the firm.

You will be involved in a variety of matters, working within a team that covers the full range of property litigation services. Your caseload will include advising on both commercial and residential landlord and tenant disputes, land claims, commercial property advice and portfolio management, risk advice, and court work.

What they’re looking for in a Property Litigation Solicitor:

  • At least 1 year of post-qualification experience in commercial property—ideally within property litigation—up to and including Associate level.
  • Experience with matters relating to development risk—real property rights such as easements, restrictive covenants, overage disputes, and service charge disputes—would be ideal. As would experience with property contract dispute work.

By joining this firm, you will gain invaluable exposure in terms of an interesting caseload and diverse client base, enhancing your career prospects within a large, well-established firm that offers excellent support and resources. You will work in a supportive environment where both client and employee satisfaction are highly valued.

This firm is committed to inclusivity and equal opportunities, providing networks for diversity, disability support, and social initiatives such as volunteering and community involvement. If you are seeking a firm that offers autonomy, professional growth, and a supportive, inclusive work culture, this is the perfect opportunity for you.
