Join our board to help us develop more affordable homes for people in housing need
We’re looking for someone experienced in property development, preferably in social housing, to join our board. This is a great opportunity to help us take a step up in fulfilling our aim of developing community-led, sustainable homes for affordable rents in Somerset, BANES & North Somerset.
We currently manage one block of flats, two commercial units, and have two developments in the pipeline for 30+ affordable homes for rent. We will be applying to become a Registered Provider of Social Housing.
Living or working in Somerset, BANES, or North Somerset would be an advantage but not essential.

As a board member, you will join a small team of fellow directors with a broad range of housing expertise and experience. Board meetings are held every two months, and the Development Committee currently meets monthly online. As a board member, your role is to ensure we are governed properly and follow good practice. You will need to review reports in advance of meetings, as well as assist with and help to oversee development operations.
You will be joining us at an exciting time that is not without its challenges.
