Property Claims Handler (Home-Based) - Reading

This ‘Third Party Administrator – with a difference’ is the brain child of several insurance veterans with rich pedigrees in utilising state-of-the-art technology to tackle longstanding problems in the claims industry. Cash rich, it has been backed by a number of specialist VC firms, and has long-term agreements in place with some of the best-known MGA’s on the planet.

This is a 100% home-based role, where you will be provided with all the tools needed to make a real success of this role (including a top of the range Apple MacBook with additional screens etc), and benefiting from an extremely friendly and supportive team environment.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Efficiently deal with a caseload of Property claims on behalf of MGAs and insurers.
2. Negotiate claims through to final settlement using extensive experience and knowledge.
3. Access state-of-the-art technology and support from a dedicated Claims Support Team.

Qualifications:

1. Experience in Household or Commercial Property insurance.
2. Experience working for an insurance company, or handling claims via delegated authority at a broker or loss-adjusting firm.

1. Highly motivated and able to work independently with minimal supervision.
2. Excellent task-management skills.
3. Client service-focused with a can-do attitude.
4. Strong problem-solving skills and innovative approach.
5. Excellent communication and rapport-building skills.
6. Able to handle difficult conversations with empathy.

You will receive a generous basic salary ranging from £35K - £40K per annum (Negotiable, depending on experience), together with a range of company benefits, including support towards professional qualifications.
