About The Role
We are currently seeking Summer staff for our busy Summer period. You would be working mostly at our busy and beautiful student accommodation sites in Liverpool. This is a great position for someone looking to expand on their CV and gain valuable experience within the property industry.

Responsibilities
Summers at X1 are one of our busiest periods of the year and we are looking for hard-working, flexible, and proactive individuals to join our team on site to assist with the property turn-arounds. Your main responsibilities include (but are not limited to):

1. Liaising with tenants regarding their move out
2. Conducting check out inventories
3. Conducting full property inspections
4. Liaising with maintenance to schedule maintenance works
5. Liaising with cleaners to schedule property cleans
6. Updating master trackers of cleaning and maintenance progress
7. Checking and replacing H&S signage
8. Performing light surface cleaning prior to tenants moving in
9. Hoovering mattresses and putting on mattress toppers
10. Booking in key collections with tenants
11. Conducting property viewings with prospective tenants
12. Checking furniture standards
13. Testing property keys and arranging key replacements
14. Dressing show apartments ready for photographing
15. Packing up and storing show flat items
16. Clearing rooms where tenants have vacated and left belongings behind
17. Purchasing cleaning supplies and apartment supplies
18. Re-arranging furniture in apartments
19. Tuning TVs
20. Setting up TV fire sticks
21. Taking down old shower curtains and replacing with new ones
22. Checking out and checking in with tenants
23. Taking part in student move-in days; showing tenants to rooms, checking they are happy, helping with luggage, offering refreshments to tenants and parents

As this is a customer-facing role, we are looking for strong individuals who are confident and outgoing with everyone they meet and speak to, to ensure our tenants receive the best care possible and have a fantastic X1 experience.

During your time with X1, you will be given guidance and support by your Property Manager. Successful candidates are expected to be proactive, very organized, and hard-working as this is a very busy time of the year for us at X1. Our X1 staff are key to the business, and many have progressed into permanent members of staff from initially joining us as Summer staff.

This is a temporary summer role from 4th August - 19th September 2025. Working hours are Monday - Friday 9:30 am - 5:00 pm. The salary is £12.21 per hour (dependent on age).
