About the Client

Our client is a global leader in Building Management Solutions (BMS), specializing in automation and control for commercial and residential properties. With over 100 years of innovation, they continue to expand their service projects division, offering cutting-edge solutions to existing customers.

Responsibilities:

  • Work with the BMS Service Projects Sales Manager to deliver accurate proposals.
  • Conduct site surveys to assess BMS requirements and recommend solutions.
  • Maintain strong relationships with clients, advising on new BMS technologies and system enhancements.
  • Assist in design development, ensuring solutions align with client requirements.
  • Prepare and present professional tenders, clearly articulating proposed solutions.
  • Collaborate with service, engineering, and project teams for accurate cost estimates.
  • Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, including RAMS documentation.
  • Keep up to date with client lifecycle plans and budgets to support long-term BMS investments.
  • Maintain quotation tracking systems to manage opportunities effectively.
  • Provide detailed project handovers to project management teams for successful execution.

Qualifications:

  • 2+ years’ experience in the UK BMS industry (engineering or sales role preferred).
  • Strong technical knowledge of HVAC and BMS solutions.
  • Excellent commercial acumen, capable of making sound business decisions.
  • Self-motivated, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to manage complex projects.
  • Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
  • High attention to detail, with a focus on process improvement and efficiency.
  • Passion for delivering high-quality client service.
