Projectional Radiographer

We are seeking a highly motivated, flexible and enthusiastic Band 6 Radiographer to join our friendly team at Mid Cheshire NHS Foundation Trust to work in the projectional and theatre radiography department.

MCHFT has a growing imaging department and offers its team the opportunity to progress in various fields within Medical Imaging. We believe in home growing talent, and actively encourage CPD and personal development.

The posts will provide you with opportunities to excel in a wide range of disciplines including General Radiography, Accident and Emergency work, Theatre work, Mobiles and Fluoroscopy. The successful applicants will be required to participate in our busy seven-day service which includes working evenings, nights, weekends and Bank Holidays.

The ideal candidate will be a dedicated protectional radiographer who strives to provide radiographic images of the highest quality. They will enjoy working with students and will actively share knowledge and skills with others.

This is a busy department which has had major investment in CT/MR and general x-ray. We are currently replacing CR X-ray rooms with DR and have had plans approved to build a new unit within the ED department which will house a DR room and CT. We have recently purchased 5 new DR mobiles which are due for delivery.
