Salary: £26,054 - £28,357 (Band 11-16)
Hours: 37 hours per week (shift-based, including some weekends)
Annual Leave: 25 days plus bank holidays (+1 additional day after 5 years)

We are recruiting on behalf of a well-established charitable organisation looking for a Project Worker - Floating Support to provide crucial tenancy sustainment support to individuals facing complex challenges.

About the Role:
As a Floating Support Project Worker, you will play a key role in preventing homelessness by providing tailored support to clients in their own homes across Southend-on-Sea. Working in partnership with other professionals, you will help individuals sustain their tenancies, improve their quality of life, and build independence.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct risk assessments and create personalised support plans
  • Assist clients with housing management, benefits, and tenancy sustainment
  • Work with external agencies to provide holistic support
  • Help individuals access education, training, and employment opportunities
  • Maintain accurate case records and documentation

What We're Looking For:

  • Experience supporting individuals facing challenges such as mental health issues, substance use, or rough sleeping
  • Knowledge of safeguarding and risk assessment procedures
  • Strong organisational skills and ability to manage casework effectively
  • A proactive, empathetic, and person-centered approach to support
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and bank holidays
